Works and Staff Councils’ Day

Event organised in cooperation with the DGB-Bildungswerk [organisation for trade union education] Thanks to the Arbeitsschutzgesetz (ArbSchG) [Labor Protection Act] works councils are able to exercise and infl uence the information rights, rights of initiative and worker participation rights stipulated in the Betriebsverfassungsgesetz (BetrVG) [Works Constitution Act] to a very great extent.

This act lays down the main responsibilities, rights and obligations of corporate industrial safety and health protection. A+A offers, which are of special interest to works and staff council members, are listed under the heading “Works and Staff Councils’ Day”.
