The starting point of the event is the scenario of a national catastrophe with the chemical background “hazardous substance accident in the main railway station of City A” and the accompanying tasks, consequences and effects. Incorporating the emergency services, institutions, agencies and companies, the aim is to demonstrate the interconnection of the different organisations and to present solutions to open issues, such as in organisational and operational structuring or in communication technology.

The event titled “The Management of Disasters – a Challenge for the Population, State and Economy” is taking place at the CCD Süd (South).
