EXPRESSO Deutschland GmbH has extended its product range for Small Goods Handling with the BalanceLift that is capable of 'balancing' loads from 20 to 150 kg at flexible lift heights between 0,3 and 3 m. Safeguard your employee's health
The lifting procedure simply follows the user's natural movements, and is initiated via the ergonomically shaped operating handle. No buttons or keys need to be pressed for lifting/lowering, and the operator always has perfect control of the load – whereby everything is achieved without any physical effort.
These advantages come to full bear especially in assembly lines, e.g. in the automotive and other high-tech industries, because continuous and strenuous activities lead to a reduction in employee performance within a short time.

Based on our extensive experience and comprehensive know-how, and in close cooperation with the customer, EXPRESSO's customized solutions are provided for all branches of industry. For example, well-known automakers in south Germany use the LEO2500 for transporting load-handling dollies & trolleys in their vehicle body assembly plants. LEO2500 – the future is here already
The LEO LEO2500 has been designed as a tug, and combines EXPRESSO's unique, patented touch2move drive concept with the principles of motorized 'walkie' ground transport equipment using tiller handle control. LEO2500 is fitted with just one sensor handle and one drive motor for optimum manoeuvrability and utmost compactness, permitting convenient and effortless towing of one or more trolleys/carts. This makes handling and parking a piece of cake.
With this trend-setting device, EXPRESSO closes a handling gap that could previously be overcome only by means of bulky transport equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet trucks, or with considerable physical effort using manual pallet trucks. Thanks to LEO2500, the gains in mobility together with saved time and space leads to increased productivity and safety for companies.
Simply by touching the sensor handle with integral hand detection, the trolley – with a weight up to 2,5 tons – “obeys” the operator's natural movements, and automatically adapts to his/her walking speed. This is a highly convenient and safe logistic solution that also enables persons with a less robust constitution to move heavy loads safely and ergonomically without physical effort – and the operator needs neither a driving license nor any special training. What's more, it greatly improves employee motivation, and helps you comply with increasingly strict accident prevention regulations. An innovation for safe and highly efficient working procedures: Even more precise positioning, parking, and manoeuvering with the new 2-handle version of the successful LEO750 single-handed tug. Depending on the configuration, loads up to 1000 kg can be moved with the new LEO750. Moreover, thanks to the intelligent software, both hands can now be used for easy, precise manoeuvering of the load, e.g. when docking to a trolley/dolly frame. What's more, the LEO permits pinpoint steering and accurate parking. The new handle design enables the tug to be pulled with just one hand. LEO750 improves in-house logistics, supports optimized operational planning, and thus contributes significantly to increased productivity. On request, the manufacturer arranges demonstrations on the customer's premises.

With its ergonomic Lift&Drive lifting aids, EXPRESSO has focussed on a highly diversified range of equipment that can lift and manipulate goods weighing up to 45, 85, 125, 175 or 225 kg. They are used wherever goods need to be lifted and transported.
Aluminium modular system
In order to supply individual, application-oriented products, the mobile lifters have been designed as a modular system. Moreover, the lifters are extremely rugged and have an appealing design.
Due to their low weight, they are easily moved and manoeuvered. For everyday use, it is not only important that the loads are lifted and handled, but that the loaded lifter can also be moved and operated simply and precisely. All of these features are combined in the Lift&Drive.
EXPRESSO manufactures the lifters of aluminium and high-quality stainless steel.

Constructional and safety features
Fitted with a reliable, low-maintenance spindle drive, a patented safety clutch, and electronic overload protection, the lifters have an extremely high level of operational safety.
Moreover, because a brush strip protects the drive spindle in the pillar, the lifters (e.g. in the unlacquered version) are also suitable for use in cleanrooms.
The gas-tight, maintenance-free battery and the standard charging unit ensure that the lifter is always ready for service.
Thanks to its four rugged castors, the Lift&Drive remains manoeuvrable even in tight spaces. The lifter can be pushed right up to the storage shelves or a machine, thus allowing the goods to be moved smoothly onto the stable platform. Lifter operation is by means of an ergonomically designed, height-adjustable handle. A removable remote control panel permits all the lifter's functions to be operated from the most convenient position.

Vacuum lifter with guaranteed mobility – efficient lifting and handling with unique, patented vacuum technology
Loads, which previously could only be handled with expensive accessories,
can now be handled efficiently and ergonomically with the MobiCrane.
Due to the adjustable lifting height, the operator always maintains an optimal and ergonomic posture when lifting and moving the loads.
This new vacuum lifter from EXPRESSO Deutschland GmbH, in Kassel, Germany, is 10% more effective than conventional systems. The lifters are very easy to operate, and can be transported with any normal forklift or platform lift truck, i.e. they can be moved quickly to wherever they are needed.
Thanks to the on-board battery, the MobiCrane is independent of the mains supply. Consequently, no additional fittings or cabling are required in the building.
Apart from a range of standard grippers, numerous options and accessories are available for the most varied applications. Expresso also develops customized solutions, hand in hand with the customer.
The quiet, integrated vacuum pump only has two firmly connected parts, and works without seals. This unique design ensures low energy consumption and exhibits a very high efficiency due to the patented airflow principle. Furthermore, the system features low friction values, which results in lower operating temperatures.
With its 24 V battery, the MobiCrane is suitable for loads up to 80 kg.
The technical safety features and the functional design are convincing. For example, the telescopic pillar provides an individually adjustable lifting height between 1760 and 2735 mm.

The touch2move drive concept can be fitted to practically to all four-wheel trolleys and other transport carts. This is made possible by the innovative FSR (force-sensing resistor) technology in the maintenance-free sensor handles, and the digitally controlled hub drive motors. Two maintenance-free 12 V gel-cell batteries supply the drive power for the motors. A special feature of gel-cell batteries is that they do not gas during charging, so that the vehicle can be parked anywhere for a recharge. In accordance with accident prevention regulations, trolleys with touch2move drives are classified as “walkie-type” transport vehicles, and have CE marking.
Outstanding handling characteristics
Difficult surfaces and tight curves are no problem for the touch2move. Hereby, the automatic speed control adapts continuously and smoothly to the user's individual requirements.
