Act Safe Systems AB, located in Göteborg on the west coast of Sweden, was founded in 1994 and have been working with solutions for Rope Access and rescue at height since then.

The power ascender, ActSafe Odyssé PME, was developed already in 1997 as a result of the limitations of rope access. With its patented rope grab it meant a revolution for the rope access industry. The traditionally manual climbing methods now could be done with a powered climbing aid, allowing quick and cost-efficient access to a work or rescue site. The idea was that one shouldn't have to be a specially trained athlete to be able to benefit from the advantages with Rope Access.

Our latest product, the battery operated power ascender ActSafe ACC is the result of unconventional and innovative thinking in combination with ActSafes extensive experience in this field. It combines good design, durability and the latest technology.

However, our product range covers not only the unique power ascenders but also harnesses and other equipment for rope access and rescue. In collaboration with our customers we design new products that increase safety and efficiency for work at height owing to their combination of ingenuity and top quality production.
