Our Company

Riensch & Held GmbH & Co. KG was founded by
A. Riensch in 1845. For the last three decades, after many successful years of trade with Latin America, our firm has focused its activity on the worldwide growth market of household filters. Through its series of patents and registered designs, Riensch & Held has positioned itself as an inventive manufacturer. Whereas we once imported coffee, we now manufacture coffee filters and have developed a whole range of household filters for coffee, tea, oil, water and air.

The turtle has been our firm' s trademark since before 1900, symbolizing quality and continuity. The finum brand heads a unique range of accessories for tea & coffee which, alongside disposable filters includes permanent filters and an award winning tea maker. Due to the close cooperation with our customers in the development of new products and technologies we have become a resourceful partner of industry and commerce.

Our attention centres around people as partners - customers, suppliers and employees. Our international spirit reflects the company's tradition which is closely linked to the history of Hamburg. Riensch & Held is certified in accordance with
DIN ISO 9001: 2008.
