As part of its continued commitment to providing its customers with gloves of the highest quality, CMIG has announced that two products from its Comasec® range have achieved the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 classification.
The latest products to achieve the standard are Picolon Confort and Picostar, both seamless lightweight knitted gloves, with enhanced grip performance thanks to the PVC dotted palms, and good abrasion resistance.
Ideal for anyone requiring good dexterity and some mechanical protection, both gloves work particularly well for those people in handling and assembly operations who also require good dexterity and comfort.
The Oeko-Tex 100 classification guarantees that the textiles used in the manufacture of Comasec® gloves are carcinogenic free, tested against pesticides and phenol chlorine, contain no heavy metals, have little or no formaldehyde, have a neutral pH and are accelerator free with no added biocides.
The new Picolon Confort and Picostar join the new Nitrotough™ N1000 range, in meeting the Oeko-Tex standard, with more products from the range likely to achieve the classification in early 2010.
“Our commitment to quality is absolute and we are delighted, that as part of our continued programme to ensure our products meet the Oeko-Tex 100 standard, Picolon Confort and the Picostar are the latest products to achieve this,” said Dr Michael Bungert of CMIG.
