Lübeck – The Dräger X-tended filter series comprises four filter types that cover many areas of application and provide protection against multiple hazardous substances. All filters provide a 30 percent longer duration against gases than required in approval tests.
All filters have a standard round thread according to EN 148-1 and fit – depending on the type – on any half and full face mask with Rd40 connection available on the market. The filter types 1140 A2 and A2P3 R D can be used with half and full face masks, 1140 A2B2E2K2 and 1140 A2B2E2K2 Hg P3 R D are used with full face masks.
Due to the increased duration, Dräger was able to optimize processes and simplify procedures. All filters are packed individually and can be resealed to most effectively protect unused filters. Gas and combination filters have a shelf-life of six years from the date of manufacture, particle filters are twelve years.
The Dräger X-tended series is CE certified according to effective respiratory filter standards and provides a high user safety.
Dräger Safety AG & Co. KGaA is manufacturer of the X-tended filter series.
