ENVITEC theme of “corporate environmental protection” at A+A 2003

In 2004, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and Deutsche Messe AG will jointly organise the world’s No. 1 fair for process automation, INTERKAMA, in Lower Saxony’s capital of Hanover as part of Hannover Messe 2004. As a result, INTERKAMA and the environmental protection fair ENVITEC will not be staged in tandem as originally planned. Instead, companies with offerings in corporate environmental protection will take the floor within A+A, the world’s foremost fair for Safety + Health at Work, Personal Protective Equipment and Occupational Safety from 27 to 30 October 2003 in Düsseldorf.

Traditionally, environmental issues of corporate concern have formed one of the thematic focuses of A+A. Areas of corporate environmental protection such as air pollution control, silencers, noise reduction, site remediation and soil purification are some of the core categories for exhibits at A+A. This is because corporate environmental protection is as imperative in production-oriented enterprises as it is in those with an administrative focus – not only for ecological reasons but also from the commercial perspective. Many of the A+A exhibitors offer all-in solutions that respond equally to environmental protection, occupational safety and health needs. These exhibitors will be concentrated in Halls 6 and 7, where they will be showcasing their innovative environmental technologies. New to the thematic offerings at A+A 2003 are the avoidance of damage to property and reduction in quality as well as measurement technology for the avoidance of malfunctions. Here again, there are many synergies between ENVITEC and A+A. What’s more, the staging of the first “Nationale Tagung Betrieblicher Umweltschutz” (national conference on corporate environmental protection) organised by the Berlin-based Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Umweltfragen (Working Group for Environmental Issues – AGU) on 28 October 2003, marks an event that is also of importance to ENVITEC’s target audience being held during A+A.

A+A will host some 1,100 exhibitors from 50 countries. The suppliers’ company profiles and product information can be accessed on the A+A Internet portal at www.AplusA-online.de.
