First Online Accreditation Process for Health Plans

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in USA will soon allow to
roll out certification programs concerning "Health at Work" on NCQA’s new,
interactive, online survey platform. The switch from existing, paper-based
survey processes will make it easier for participating organizations to prepare
for a survey, submit documentation and assess their performance while also
making the survey process itself more efficient.

"Moving accreditation online will give participants a number of key
advantages," said NCQA Chief Operating Officer Esther Emard. "It will allow
them to perform a self-assessment, see scores on individual standards and use a
‘Completeness Check’ feature to ensure that their submissions are as robust
as possible."
