November 2013: Changes are underway at the lead of schoeller®-works – the workwear division of Schoeller Textil AG. The 41-year-old, Dutch-born Hendrikus van Es is assuming control of the schoeller®-works business unit as of 1 November, 2013 and taking his place as a member of the management board.
At Schoeller in Sevelen (CH) he will be in charge of a strong team of workwear specialists and responsible for product development and distribution. As a provider of concept-based solutions, schoeller®-works develops innovative functional and protective fabrics for uniforms, fashionable corporate wear, protective workwear and military use. schoeller®-works fabrics guarantee maximum clothing comfort and ease of care, comply with the major health and safety norms and thus ensure reliable protection and the highest performance capacity.
Hendrikus van Es studied textile engineering at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, majoring in textile finishing, and can call on many years of experience in the international textile business. He gained his initial experience as project manager with a leading manufacturer of interlining. In 2000, he took over as business manager of a yarn dyeing plant before later assuming the general management of the coloured yarn business unit with a European synthetic yarn manufacturer. He successfully proved his entrepreneurial skills in global product management and as head of Mobil Tex marketing with a Swiss chemical company that operates internationally. He is now moving to the innovative textile specialist Schoeller inSwitzerland.
