The new Hughes Articulated Rapid Deployment (HARD) is designed for rapid deployment and maximum flexibility. It provides protection and temporary accommodation at incidents. Typical applications include a command and control centre, first aid station, decontamination facilities and casualty holding area. The shelter can be used alone or several can be connected together to give additional space.
It has a one-piece rigid folding frame with integral liner. When the frame is folded for storage, the liner remains attached and is prevented from contacting the floor and becoming dirty. This reduces cleaning time, prevents damage to the liner and extends its life.
The anodised aluminium frame combines light weight with strength to give a robust and rigid structure. It is easily carried to the scene of an incident and can be erected by two people in just 3 minutes. In addition to offering a standard range of liners to suite different applications, Hughes will design to a customer's own specification.
Tempered water solutions for emergency showering are also featured on the Hughes stand. These include a 1200 litre tank shower and a dedicated temperature controlled shower, both capable of delivering tepid water for the ANSI recommended minimum period of 15 minutes.
Also on the stand is a selection of DVGW compliant showers part of the growing range from Hughes. DVGW certification confirms they fully meet the new DIN EN -15154 (part 1 and 2) Standard.
