The European Union aims to reduce the number of industrial accidents by 25% by 2012. As a producer of safety shoes, Bata Industrials makes a substantial contribution to helping achieve this goal. Wearing safety shoes with a comfortable fit helps prevent employees from feeling tired quickly, lowering the likelihood that they will make mistakes and therefore also ensuring fewer accidents on the work floor. The Energy Footwear
During the A+A event, Bata Industrials will be introducing a new concept, developed on the basis of 'The Energy Footwear’. It consists of various safety shoe models which are suitable for nearly every work environment.
From a basic line with six shoe models countless variations may be created, all of which satisfy the S1, S2 and S3 safety norms. The models are available with three different sole materials (PU, TPU and rubber), with or without external toecaps, and steel or composite mid-soles.
The various features of these models ensure a perfect fit, ideal climate management, optimum foot support, and protective shock absorption. The wearer will experience a higher level of comfort and have more energy, even after a long day at work.
All of the shoes feature the Walkline® technology, which stimulates the natural action of the foot, thus helping prevent foot problems. The models are also available in three widths for an optimum fit.
The safety shoes are suitable for wearing during work in the following nine sectors:
• heavy industry
• building & construction
• light industry
• logistics & transport
• chemical industry
In addition, the collection also includes seven special models, such as safety shoes with the Boa® closure system and the waterproof Gore-Tex® laminate.
To learn more about this concept and a lot more, Bata Industrials invites you to come experience The Energy Footwear collection yourself at the A+A, stand 3B92.
