The new Dräger Pac units belong to the company's family of single-gas detectors and warning instruments. These instruments are small, sturdy, ergonomic and powerful, and are tailor-made for personal monitoring at the workplace. There are different versions of the instruments. The instruments, which are maintenance-free, reliably monitor the ambient air and provide warning against harmful concentrations of carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide and oxygen.
There are different versions of the instruments available:
• Dräger Pac 1000 for an operating duration of 100 days with status display.
• Dräger Pac 3000 with status display and operating day counter, adjustable from one day to two years.
• Dräger Pac 5000 with concentration display, operating day counter, adjustable from one day to two years, and event logger.
The large display presents information in large numerals or symbols rather than in text form. The display is illuminated in the event of an alarm, or when a button is pressed, to make it easier to read.
Measurements are conducted according to the diffusion principle. The new XXS sensors are able to react in the blink of an eye thanks to the very short electrochemical reaction times and very short diffusion paths.
