The three brands in fall protection – Cresto, Axel and ResQ – are merging to form one common brand, Cresto. At the same time, a range of products is being launched featuring a completely new
design and several new products, including a revolutionary innovation
to increase safety in the offshore windpower sector.
Axel, ResQ and Cresto products and offers are now being marketed under a common name – Cresto. The merger will consolidate Cresto’s position as the largest player in fall protection in the Nordic region.
“We have implemented this merger so that we can offer our customers a stronger concept encompassing everything from products to services. We will develop our service concept and training, which is already extensive, will be even more far-ranging. Every element from production to installation, training and service will be fully managed by Cresto’s personnel,” says CEO Jonas
In conjunction with the merger, Cresto will be launching a wide range of products in a completely new design, all of which will be sold under the Cresto name. The range features several new products including Ergo Plus, a new form of ergonomic back padding, and OSCAR, a fall arrester used to increase
safety in off-shore windpower work.
“OSCAR is a revolutionary innovation for everyone working in the offshore
windpower industry. The fall arrester is affi xed to an offshore windpower plant
to secure persons from the boat up to the platform on the windpower plant,” says Jonas Cedås.
The patented arrester is designed to withstand extreme conditions and is unique in that it features a watertight and corrosion-resistant construction.
