Apparently a DTI survey has established that 90% of UK employers fully approve
of flexible working because it is low cost, delivers real improvements and is
good for business. Indeed many employers already implement work-life balance
Principally this means policies to help parents work flexibly and balance their
careers with childcare, but not at the expense of colleagues who could
potentially be overburdened with an increased workload.
The study found that flexible working delivered real improvements to businesses
while being cost effective.
