The British Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published a committment to
eliminate discrimination and promote equality in their policies and in their
dealings with their staff.

On recently published webpages they set out the actions that HSE will take to
ensure they meet these commitments and the requirements of the Equality Act
2010, Public Sector Equality Duty (the Equality Duty).

They outline:

• the mission and purpose of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE);


• their approach to diversity;


• how they consulted people; and


• their approach to impact assessment and monitoring progress.
