Vehicle safety

Employers and dutyholders must make sure that vehicles used in the workplace
are: safe, driven safely, and regularly maintained, repaired and inspected.

The British Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has put together some
'before-and-after' interactive case studies to help you think and talk about
vehicle safety in the workplace. They are all based on events that their
inspectors have reported.

The flashes contain panaromic views, allowing you to drag the viewer through
360° and select different viewing points. Situations include:

  • Narrow street

  • Loading bay

  • Newspaper depot

  • Untidy crossing

  • Poor paving

  • School entrance

  • Construction site

  • Waste station

  • Farm campsite

  • Wrong way

  • Difficult reversing

  • Dangerous unloading
