Young people are especially vulnerable in the workplace. Across Europe, 18 to
24-year-olds are at least 50% more likely to be hurt at work than older people.
Young people are also more likely to suffer from an occupational illness.
A new EU-OSHA publication looks at the involvement of young workers in
occupational safety and health as a key step towards workplace safety culture
The e-fact proposes best practice to engage young workers in OSH and presents
examples of steps taken by companies to actively involve their young employees,
enabling them to play an important part in the organisations' safety management.
