A new training project - E-capacit8 - is concerned with meeting the need for
extracurricular training for occupational health professionals (OHPs) on health
and ageing. It is co-funded by the Health Programme of the European Union.

The project 'Strengthening occupational health professionals' capacities to
improve the health of the ageing workforces' is developing context-specific
educational materials and an e-learning platform. The project is in its second
year where engagement of stakeholders, workshops and feedback are part of the
development process. National workshops take place in 13 countries September
