As part of the Commission for Occupational Health and Safety and
Standardization (KAN) in Germany, Angela Janowitz has recently posted an
article highlighting the significance of standardization measures for safe and
healthy workplaces. According to Janowitz's post, examples of OSH
standardization include equipping workplaces with safety technology, carrying
out medical examinations and standardizing the use of personal protective
equipment.

Although KAN doesn't set standards for industry, they assist by liaising with
employers, trade unions and government to make recommendations.
