Well-being at work: creating a positive work environment

A new publication summarises the findings from the 'Well-being at work:
creating a positive work environment' report, which is based on responses to a
questionnaire distributed to organisations in 30 countries, and a survey of the
literature. Well-being at work is valuable for quality of life as well as
economic development. Its importance is increasingly recognised across Europe
but there is no agreed definition or standard approach. The summary document
outlines the concept of well-being at work within the EU, details specific
actions required to move the concept forward and cites examples of good
practice in organisations within Europe that are addressing well-being at work.
