New stress pack for labour inspectors

Work-related stress is defined as 'the adverse reaction people have to
excessive pressures or other demands placed on them'. It is not an illness in
itself but if it is prolonged or particularly intense it can lead to physical
and/or mental ill health.

Guidance for the British Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Inspectors - the
Stress Topic Inspection Pack - has been updated to include further guidance on
enforcement and revised Improvement Notice Templates. Find out what inspectors
are looking for when they visit an organisation - read this new stress topic
inspection pack.
