A new initiative has been launched which is aimed at getting more disabled
people into the workplace across the UK.

Over 200 employers including BT, E.On, South Eastern, UK Border Agency and HMRC
have worked in association with The Clear Company to create the Disability
Clearkit, an online service to share best practice, offer guidance to employers
and stimulate employment opportunities for disabled talent.

The site includes practical support, guidance on best practice, employer case
studies, top tips and checklists. It includes examples of how to adjust
workplaces so disabled people can carry out jobs, and/or to remove health and
safety problems.
