Only 12 days left and A+A 2023 awaits you with exciting topics around occupational health and safety. In today's newsletter we briefly introduce the Press Summit (4. A+A Expert Talk) and the A+A Congress. This year, you can watch the Press Summit Expert Talk live at A+A or via a live stream online. And the A+A Congress will once again offer interesting topics and is organized by the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi).

Press Summit - 4th A+A Expert Talk: Impulses for a better work environment

At this year's Press Summit, the 4th A+A Expert Talk, you can attend live at the A+A trade show (German & English) or join the livestream on the website and on LinkedIn.

Follow exciting discussions and informative talks online on the topic of impulses for a better work environment. The expert panel consists of 6 people from industry and research and will be chaired by German TV Show (Stern TV) presenter Dieter Könnes.

With them:

  • Dr. Urs Schneider (Division Manager and Head of Department at Fraunhofer IPA) - topic "Ergonomic tools of the future".

  • Dr. Joerg Castor (Project Manager Workspace Innovation) - Topic "Future of Work, New Work".

  • Thomas Kuhn (Technology Reporter in the Innovation & Digital Department, WirtschaftsWoche) - "Digital Disruption and AI and how is technology changing our working world?"

  • Henk Vanhoutte (PPE expert, lobbyist, standardization expert, project manager HVC / Secretary General European Safety Federation) - "Sustainability in Occupational Health and Safety and Personal Protective Clothing."

  • Actor and bodybuilding champion (e.g. Mr. Universum) Ralf Moeller, who, together with Hans Schäfer Workwear, will be kicking off his "Motivation handcraft" initiative at A+A 2023, which aims to fight the shortage of skilled workers and get young people interested in the handcraft.

  • Verena Ziegler (Co-founder and CEO OpenDress GmbH (BEAWEAR), Future Technologist, Founder of the year 2022) – “Commerce and E-Commerce, KI, Sustainability, Functional Clothing”

The A+A Congress

As every year, the 38th International A+A Congress will be held in parallel with the trade fair from October 24 to 27, 2023, in Dusseldorf. This central joint event of occupational safety and health in Germany is organized by the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi).

It addresses the trend topics of digitalization and sustainability and, as a leading international trade event, presents national and global political advances.
