The call for ideas and topics for the 37th International A+A Congress 2021 is now open. Basi, the Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health at Work in Germany, is calling on all interested parties to take part in the “Call for Participation”. All proposals can be easily submitted online - more information can be found
here.
In his welcoming address, Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Hubertus Heil outlined the current challenges being faced: “The challenges presented by the corona pandemic cannot be resolved by politicians alone. We need the support of experts and practitioners in research, industry and institutes. I therefore cordially invite you, with this call for participation, to submit your ideas during the preparations for the A+A Congress 2021.” Dr Christian Felten, Managing Director of Basi, which is organising the A+A Congress, went over the main points: “Biological substances will be one of the topics on the programme. In addition, developments in digitalisation have raised important questions, such as: What influence does digitalisation have on jobs? How does OSH work in a home office environment? How do you check that regulations are being observed? How do we ensure safety and health at work in supply chains? What do we mean by “Good Work Worldwide”? These are issues that concern us all and which require solutions to be found.
The international A+A Congress and the world-leading A+A Trade Fair 2021 will take place
October 26-29, 2021 in Düsseldorf.
