DASSY® sets new standards for sustainable workwear at A+A 2025

DASSY® is pulling out all the stops with two brand-new collections and a revamped range of workwear at A+A in Düsseldorf, the international trade fair for health and safety at work.


The launch of these two brand-new collections – called DASSY Icons® and DASSY® Essentials – and the striking expansion of its DASSY® HiVis collection confirm the brand’s position as a leading player in the market for sustainable and practical workwear.


The new generation of workwear

The world of workwear is changing fast: safety and functionality used to be paramount, but professionals today are also looking for style and comfort. Workwear is evolving from something purely practical to a fully-fledged part of professionals’ personal style, visible both at and outside work – a shift that’s redefining the sector’s future. ‘The boundaries between work and leisure are blurring. Workwear can now be seen outside working hours too’, says Véronique Mulliez, CEO of DASSY®. ‘We’re taking this idea further with the introduction of DASSY Icons® and DASSY® Essentials.’


Focussing on both sustainability and innovation

With these launches, DASSY® is giving its sustainability ambitions a boost. Both collections are designed for long-term use, with environmentally conscious materials and a smaller ecological footprint. Transparency plays a major role in this: where possible, recycled materials are certified by GRS, a label that makes the origin of recycled materials verifiable. ‘Our new collections represent a clear step in the direction of closing the loop’, says Céline Delaey, ESG Officer at DASSY®. ‘By using pre-consumer and post-consumer textile waste, for example, we’re bringing our ambition for a circular textile industry to life.’


The recent award of the EcoVadis Gold label to DASSY® further emphasises the brand’s sustainability efforts, placing it in the top 5% of EcoVadis-rated companies worldwide. This prestigious label is an acknowledgement of the progress made by DASSY® and its production centre in Sri Lanka in the areas of the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable sourcing, and confirms that the adopted course is more than just an aspiration – it’s a measurable result.


DASSY Icons® – Roots revived

DASSY Icons® reinterprets and updates the classics that made the brand great. The collection combines strong lines, contemporary fits and smart details with three fabrics in different stretch levels. Sustainability is key: all items contain recycled materials, with GRS certification where possible. What’s more, the collection incorporates both pre- and post-consumer textile waste. Their industrial washability makes these items a reliable choice for any work environment. Together, these features make DASSY Icons® not just stylish and recognisable, but also future-proof.


DASSY® Essentials – Mix.Match.Work.

DASSY® Essentials forms the basis of every professional wardrobe, with a wide range of topwear such as T-shirts, polo shirts, hooded sweatshirts and jackets. The collection combines timeless design, contemporary colours and comfortable fits that can be worn outside of work too. Many of the models are suitable for industrial washing – a real plus point in this market segment. Thanks to the use of recycled materials, DASSY® Essentials offers a versatile and sustainable choice, that also seamlessly integrates with all other DASSY® collections.


Looking to the future

At A+A, DASSY® will also present a revamped range of high-visibility clothing, again made with recycled materials. Professionals in every class of the EN ISO 20471 standard will soon find a complete DASSY® HiVis outfit, developed with respect for people and the environment; in this way the brand is underlining the point that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand and are together defining the future of workwear.
