Background and Purpose

Since its founding in 2013, Innophys has been guided by its philosophy of “Realizing an independent life for as long as one lives.” Originating in Japan—a country at the forefront of the super-aged society challenge—the company develops innovative solutions to help people remain active throughout their lives.

Its Muscle Suit® series of assist suits operates without electricity, using artificial muscles powered by compressed air to support human movement. As of June 2024, cumulative global sales have exceeded 30,000 units, with adoption across nursing care, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, and construction sectors.

To further expand product accessibility and create an environment where potential customers and partners can experience the products directly, Innophys has opened the Kagurazaka Showroom within the Tokyo University of Science Kagurazaka Campus. The facility will also serve as a platform for introducing new logistics solutions in the future.
