Narkonteks is the “Gold” star exporter of the Aegean Region

The Aegean Ready-to-Wear and Garment Exporters' Association (EHKİB) awarded its members who achieved the highest export figures in 2021. Narkonteks was deemed worthy of the "Gold" category award within the scope of "Stars of Ready-to-Wear and Garment Exports of 2021".

The Aegean Ready-to-Wear and Garment Exporters' Association (EHKİB) organized the "Stars of Ready-to-Wear and Garment Exports of 2021" award ceremony for its 77 members who contributed 77 percent to the 1.5 billion dollars of exports it realized in 2021. Narkonteks, which exported over 20 million dollars in 2021, received the award in the "Gold" category.

At the "Stars of Ready-to-Wear and Garment Exports of 2021" award ceremony given by EHKİB, the companies were awarded in the platinum, gold, silver and bronze categories; 3 companies received awards in the platinum category, 9 companies in gold, 29 companies in silver, and 36 companies in bronze.

Receiving the award on behalf of Narkonteks, Vice Chairman of the Board Tolga Narbay stated that they were proud and happy to be among the members of the Aegean Ready-to-Wear and Garment Exporters' Association, which achieved a total export of 1.5 billion dollars in 2021, and to be awarded in the "Gold" category, and said: "As you know, 2021 was a difficult year when we felt the impact of the pandemic. During this period, the fact that many major brands in export markets preferred Turkey for logistics reasons in the supply chain created opportunities for Turkish ready-to-wear brands and manufacturers. As Narkonteks, we developed our exports to over 25 countries, especially the Netherlands, Germany and the UK, with new collaborations, and increased our value-added exports with our brand Blackspade. As Narkonteks, in addition to increasing this wind we caught in exports in 2022, e-commerce in Europe with Blackspade is among our goals."
