The right solution for every application: glove manufacturer Seiz presents its broad product portfolio at the A+A The requirements for protective gloves vary depending on the activity. The Metzingen-based hand protection manufacturer Seiz offers the right solution for every area of work. At A+A, the world's leading trade fair for safe and healthy working, the market and innovation leader will present its reorganized and expanded product portfolio. The focus is on cut protection gloves as well as gloves for the logistics sector. Another important topic at the booth in Hall 10 is the sustainability efforts of Seiz, which is classified as a climate-neutral company. Further innovations in this area are to be presented at the trade show.
User-friendly reorganization of the product portfolioIn future, anyone interested in the wide range of Seiz gloves should be able to see at a glance which field of application a glove is suitable for and which protective function it fulfills. As part of a reorganization of the portfolio, the coated gloves have therefore been divided into series based on the intended use and the protective property of the product. For example, all dipped cut protection gloves will in future be grouped together in the "Diptex Cut" series. Coming from the English translation, "Diptex" stands for "dipped textile" and "Cut" for cut protection. For new products, the series, the type of coating, the cut protection level and the coated area will in future be reflected in the article name and the article number. "In the future, we want to present our portfolio in an even clearer, simpler and thus more user-friendly way," says Managing Director Rainer Seiz, who is the second generation to head the family-owned company founded in 1961.
New gloves - for logistics, among other things Seiz will be presenting new products at A+A for the logistics sector, for example. In the very demanding segment of (deep) cooling logistics, the glove manufacturer is cooperating with Coldtex, a Dutch specialist for deep-freeze clothing. This enables Seiz to offer hand protection certified to EN 388 or EN 511 for employees who work in logistics under extreme cold conditions. For the workwear or assembly sector, Seiz is presenting the "Diptex Pro NX1002". This offers an extremely comfortable fit for even greater wearer comfort, is very sensitive as well as touchscreen capable. The "Diptex Pro NX1002" is certified according to the EN 388:2016 standard for protective gloves against mechanical risks. As a result, it scores 4-1-2-1-X for mechanical protection properties in terms of abrasion, cut, tear propagation and puncture resistance. In the case of cut-resistant gloves, the focus is on covering all protection classes. The aim is to combine very high cut resistance with high tactility and wearer comfort. New products in this area include the "Diptex Cut NC 1001" model with a special wet nitrile dip in the palm. In terms of EN 388:2016, the model scores 3-X-4-2-C.
The goal: products that have a sustainable effectSeiz has long anchored sustainable action in its corporate guidelines. In this context, work on the sustainability campaign "The Green Side of Seiz" has been ongoing for several years. So far, Seiz has focused primarily on the corporate group's carbon footprint. The company headquarters in Metzingen has been climate-neutral since 2021. Numerous measures and successfully implemented certifications, such as STeP by OEKO-TEX®, underline the sustainability concept at SEIZ. "In the future, we would like to take this step with our products as well. We are continuously working to ensure that our gloves have a sustainable effect," says Managing Director Rainer Seiz, describing future goals. In this context, the company would also like to present innovations at the A+A.
All interested parties are cordially invited to visit booth E 22 in hall 10 to get an impression of the innovations and the broad product portfolio of Seiz and to talk to the hand protection experts.
