China Textile Commerce Association (CTCA) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Both sides will rely on their respective advantages to further strengthen the China leading occupational safety show – China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH) in Shanghai.
China Textile Commerce Association is the most influential national occupational safety industry association in China. The China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH) organized by CTCA was founded in 1966 to provide a full range of manufacturing safety and health protective equipment to workers in major manufacturing fields, including construction, chemical, metallurgy, mining and medical care. After more than 50 years of development, CIOSH has evolved into China's largest professional labor protective equipment exhibition. The last edition held in April 2019, Shanghai, attracted more than 1,500 exhibitors and 30,000 professional visitors, covering 69,000 sqm of exhibition space. CIOSH has become an industry spearhead, leading the scientific and technological development of the labor protective equipment industry in China.
The increasing level of international connectivity with A+A
Throughout the global arena, the A+A Trade Fair organized by Messe Düsseldorf is the world's leading professional trade fair for safety, security and health at work. As an international trade fair with congress, A+A is held every two years in Düsseldorf, Germany. The 2019 edition attracted more than 2,121 exhibitors and 73,000 visitors across the globe, occupying 135,000 sqm of exhibition space. With the long history in occupational safety and health industry worldwide, A+A will bring its knowledge and expertise to CIOSH whilst offer an opportunity for international exhibitors to tap into the Chinese market.
