Automation, digitalisation, Work 4.0, blurring of the borders between work and private life - the working world is being completely revolutionized at a fast pace, and entirely new working methods and conditions are resulting from this. The A+A in Düsseldorf is the international leading platform that presents both innovative and pioneering ideas as well as honed, mature products that have stood the test of time. A+A 2019 reflects the revolution in the working world with its areas Safety at work, Security at work and Health at work: around 1,900 exhibitors from around the globe will present their innovations to an international audience of experts from 5 to 8 November 2019.
The registration phase for A+A 2019, which will take place in Düsseldorf, has begun and the registration for exhibitors is in full swing. Many companies that attended in 2019 want to take part again; the feedback from the trade fair participants was exceptionally good. 87 percent of the exhibitors were pleased or very pleased with the commercial success that they experienced at the trade fair and 88 percent would recommend the A+A to others.

- Health at work (e.g. occupational medicine, first aid, rescue, occupational health management, ergonomics)
- Security at work (fire, explosion and radiation protection, air pollution control, noise reduction, safety devices for machinery)
- Special Equipment for Disaster/Emergency Management
Birgit Horn, Director of the A+A 2019, is positive about the upcoming event, and with good reason: “The A+A has been growing for years, both in terms of the number of attending exhibitors and visitors and the demands that are placed on it as regards the diversity of what is on offer, its content, quality and relevance. Furthermore, the A+A Congress, Europe’s largest discussion forum for occupational health and safety, offers a comprehensive overview of the current challenges. Together with our exhibitors and partners, we will provide important stimuli for employers and employees once again in 2019”.
In parallel with the A+A, the 36th International Congress for Occupational Safety and Occupational Medicine combines scientific findings with practical applications within companies and provides a space for dialogues between specialists on politics and economics. The organiser of the A+A Congress is the German Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health (Basi).
Forums, themed worlds and special shows are part of the established programme and are held alongside the specialist trade fair and congress. These include the following: Safety & Security trend forum, Theme Park Industrial Fire Protection and Emergency Management, Workplace Design & Corporate Health stage programme, Meeting Point Safety and Health and the A+A Fashion Show.
