The advisory board of A+A in Düsseldorf, the leading international trade fair with congress for safety, security and health at work, will soon be under new leadership. Stefan Brück, CEO and Chairman of the Board at UVEX SAFETY GROUP GmbH & Co. KG, Fürth, who has been a member of the A+A advisory board for 7 years, will be the new Chairman. In this position he succeeds Klaus Bornack, Managing Director at Bornack GmbH & Co. KG, who successfully headed the advisory board for 12 years. The handover of office will take place during A+A 2023.
Looking back on the past years with gratitude, Klaus Bornack says: “A+A has also developed on an international scale as the leading international trade fair for occupational safety and health and it has given me pleasure to jointly shape this phase as a Chairman of the Advisory Board. Over this time A+A has further consolidated its position on the world market and hence become even more attractive for trade fair visitors as well as the exhibiting companies. In Stefan Brück a recognised personality in the industry will take over the Chair.”
Stefan Brück has developed the Uvex Safety Group into one of the innovation leaders in the international PPE industry. He will assume his future task with over 30 years of industry experience under his belt and is already looking forward to the new challenge.
“My short and medium-term aim is to move such themes as sustainability but also new technologies and innovations even more into focus in occupational safety. This also includes digital products and solutions such as AI, Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality applications,” explains Stefan Brück and goes on to say: “I look forward to contributing to develop A+A further as the world-leading trade fair and to increasing the social, economic and ecological relevance of PPE on a global scale all year round.”
“With his pioneering spirit, his market knowledge as well as his strong commitment, Klaus Bornack has been absolutely instrumental to the growth and the success of A+A,” says a grateful Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director at Messe Düsseldorf and adds: “With his 50-year experience in the industry and his international network Klaus Bornack will continue shaping A+A as an advisory board member.”
In a globally connected and digital world, matters related to sustainable occupational safety and security, which also involve supply chains, play an increasingly important role. The world of work is undergoing a massive transformation process worldwide – and this will also be decisive for sustainable development.
The next A+A will be held in Düsseldorf from 24 - 27 October 2023.
