Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its local partner Tezulaş Fuar extend an invitation to the fourth TOS+H Expo 2022, Turkish Occupational Safety + Health Exhibition, from 14 to 17 May 2022, in Istanbul. Held concurrently will be the 10th International Occupational Safety and Health Congress, organised by the Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security
Full of anticipation the TOS+H Expo team is looking forward to the next exhibition dates in early summer 2022. A number of recent initiatives on the part of the Turkish government are now bringing safe working conditions in such fast-growing industries as the construction sector, mining, transport and processing. According to latest studies, annual costs incurred by the Turkish economy as a result of occupational accidents and diseases are estimated at $24b. Concrete measures include the promotion of training in safety and health at the workplace. As part of national and international projects to support the published occupational safety act and its subordinate ordinances studies are being carried out with a view to making safety at work the standard.
Working towards this goal, TOS+H Expo 2022 and the 10th International Congress for Occupational Safety and Health make a key contribution to raising awareness about prevention in the workplace in Turkey.
Plans for 2020 were to hold the event for the first time at ICC Congress Center in Istanbul; centrally located in the Taksim district it offers enough space for both events in a central location with optimum infrastructure. Now the premiere is within reach again.
Together the exhibition and Congress provide a 360° view of the Turkish market and a platform for decision-makers. They send out important impulses for the progressive implementation of uniform OSH standards as well as the establishment of a prevention culture in Turkey and its neighbouring states. This means: TOS+H Expo will serve as the platform to meet the region’s decision-makers and allow exhibitors to markedly strengthen their market position.
TOS+H Expo 2022 will additionally feature a Special Area for start-ups and non-profit organisations.
