Global stage for occupational safety innovations: exhibitor registration for A+A 2027 has begun

Düsseldorf, 21 July 2026 – From 19 to 22 October 2027 Düsseldorf will once again become the international meeting point for safety and health at work. Under the heading “People Matter” the world-leading trade fair A+A brings together international experts and enterprises with users and presents innovations for tomorrow’s world of work.

Since 16 June 2026 exhibitors have been able to register for A+A 2027. Companies and organisations from around the world are invited to introduce their innovations and solutions for safety and health at work and sustainable prevention to an international expert audience. 

The world of work is undergoing a profound transformation. Digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence, automation, demographic changes, new forms of work and the consequences of climate change all present firms with new challenges. A+A 2027 will hone in on these developments and flag up practice-driven solutions for a safe, healthy, and sustainable working world. It will focus especially on the smart connection between humans, technology, and the work environment as well as on sustainable concepts in line with the circular economy.

The success of the previous event attracting some 2,340 exhibitors from 70 countries and to the tune of 67,000 trade visitors from 150 nations underscores its global reach. It provides business with the ideal platform for presenting innovations, making international contacts and tapping into new markets. We look forward to welcoming the sector to Düsseldorf again in 2027,” explains Daniel Feische, Director of A+A and the Occupational Safety and Health Portfolio.

Discover, experience, understand 

At A+A 2027 the future will be in reach. Trade visitors will be able to explore innovative products, smart technologies and hands-on solutions for safe and healthy working – ranging from intelligent personal protective equipment and wearables to exoskeletons and digital assistance systems to AI-assisted applications, future-proof materials and innovative workwear.

In addition, numerous live features will make innovations an immersive experience. The EXO PARK, the A+A Trend Forum, live demos on fire protection and emergency management will convey the latest developments in a practitioner-focused way and promote expert exchange. 

The many international exhibitors also confirm that A+A is considered the industry’s leading meeting point. Stefan Brück, Chief Executive Officer of the Uvex Group and chairman of the A+A advisory board, sums up the significance of the event: “A+A is the global event in the PPE sector and has now developed into a brand in its own right. We plan our innovation roadmap accordingly and meet customers here from throughout the world; it is the most important event every two years.” 

Another highlight is the A+A Fashion Show. Staging current trends in workwear and corporate fashion it will demonstrate how innovative materials, sustainability and modern design set new standards for workwear and protective wear. 

A milestone: 40th International A+A Congress 

Concurrently with A+A, the International A+A Congress will celebrate its 40^th edition in 2027. Under the guiding theme of “Prevention Secures Stability – Occupational Safety as a Key to Companies’ Crisis Resilience” the national and international occupational safety community will discuss current challenges and forward-looking solutions. The focus will be on digitalisation, new working processes, skills-building as well as the international prevention strategy VISION ZERO.

This Congress is organised by the Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health (“Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit” – Basi). Managing Director of Basi Dr. Christian Felten stresses that “Occupational safety is not a cost factor but a stability factor. Companies that invest in prevention, promote their performance and their employees’ health – in everyday life as much as in times of crisis.”
