Düsseldorf, 2 July 2025 – A+A, the world's leading trade fair for personal protection, occupational safety and health at work, has published a new white paper on the topic of ‘New Work – The Future of Work’. It offers practical insights into current developments in healthy, safe and future-oriented working environments – with contributions from science, business and society.
New Work has long been a reality. Between skills shortages, artificial intelligence, hybrid forms of work and increasing pressure on managers, one central question arises: How can we work successfully under new conditions – in a way that is humane, productive and healthy at the same time?
As an international platform for innovations in occupational safety, health and digitalisation, A+A is sending a strong message with this white paper. Wellbeing, new work, AI and digital tools are increasingly shaping new working models, changing processes and standards, and at the same time offering new opportunities for sustainable competitiveness.
The white paper highlights, among other things:
- Practical examples from companies such as Merck, Deutsche Bahn and medium-sized champions
- Expert opinions from Dr Stefan Rief (Fraunhofer IAO), Prof. Dr Sascha Stowasser (ifaa) and Frederik Blohm (Deep Care), among others
- Trend topics such as gig working, workation, mental health, job rotation and AI in production
- Study results from leading institutions such as the World Economic Forum and the Zukunftsinstitut (Future Institute).
