89,000 square meters – a new record. Weeks before opening, we know: A+A 2025 will be the largest in our history. With 2,321 exhibitors from 69 countries, we are setting new standards and reaffirming our position as the world's leading trade fair for personal protection, occupational safety and health at work – and as the largest platform for corporate fashion and workwear.
What excites us most: International market leaders meet promising newcomers, whose fresh ideas and bold concepts shape the world of work of tomorrow. For the first time, Schöffel Pro will showcase its workwear at A+A and present a new development redefining functionality and comfort. Hyundai has also innovation in store: The company will unveil a newly developed exoskeleton designed to ease overhead work and significantly reduce strain on workers. Overland Shoes unveils Bobcat Safety Footwear, combining bold innovation, disruptive design and proprietary comfort technology for a new standard in safety footwear. Technology that protects health and redefines ergonomics is exactly what A+A stands for.
What many don’t know: A+A exceeds Messe Düsseldorf by far. We have been building an international network for many years, with events taking place in China, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and Japan. Our global portfolio unites professionals, companies and decision-makers where new markets are emerging.
Our international A+A portfolio includes:
CIOSH in China
OS+H Asia in Singapore
CIOSH Thailand
TOS+H in Istanbul
JIOSH+W in Japan
These events create powerful synergies, foster exchange and contribute to a global safety culture across industries and national borders. Whether it’s product innovations, norm discussions or strategic partnerships – we are actively shaping the future.
An essential trend: We are seeing topics such as New Work, mental health and holistic wellbeing taking center stage – not only in Europe but everywhere in the world. Healthy work is no longer optional but has become a strategic factor for companies. At the fair, we showcase solutions that reduce both physical and mental strain on employees – from ergonomic workplaces to digital stress prevention and assistance systems, especially for demanding tasks.
2025 is also a year of change for us. Lars Wismer, who has been shaping A+A for many years, will take a new role as Regional Head Messe Düsseldorf for Asia in Singapore. We thank him for his strategic foresight and fundamental expertise in building our global network.
Daniel Feische is taking the lead. He has been with Messe Düsseldorf since 2017 and brings extensive experience in strategic product development and international projects, including the Circular Valley Convention and U.S. trade fair Xpontential. Starting in December 2025, he will be responsible for our entire occupational safety topic and glass technology portfolio.
To kick things off, we asked him three questions:
A+A: What does it mean to you to take over the lead at A+A during a phase of growth?
Daniel Feische: It’s a strong start without doubt. The trade fair is growing, and worldwide, occupational safety is more relevant than ever worldwide – and being given the chance to take over with such a strong momentum is incredibly motivating. However, I don’t see my role in merely continuing past success, but in working with my team to set new impulses. We want to further sharpen A+A’s profile as an international platform for innovation.
A+A: Which trends do you currently see in corporate fashion and workwear?
Daniel Feische: We’re seeing a significant development in professional clothing – being more functional, fashionable and sustainable than ever before. It’s no longer only about protection, but also about identification. Many companies are deliberately choosing workwear to express appreciation and strengthen the team spirit.
A+A: How are digital technologies, artificial intelligence and robotics shaping A+A?
Daniel Feische: These sectors gather momentum. From connected PPE to AI-driven safety analytics and exoskeletons – we want to display these developments at the trade fair and discuss them in a hands-on context. A+A is the perfect place for that.
For us, it is clear: A+A 2025 will not only break records – it will set new agendas, create new networks and open new perspectives - for a working world that is safer, healthier and ready for the future.
