Planning and installation of the radio nurse call solution EkoCare® in the clinical centre Schloss Lütgenhof

The Lütgenhof Castle Clinic is an acute clinic for personal medicine. The private clinic specialises in the treatment of stress-related illnesses. Personal Medicine combines excellent conventional medicine with psychosocial diagnostics and therapy in a special atmosphere and implements individually tailored therapy programs in the full inpatient stay and in the day clinic. A team of professionally trained doctors, nurses and therapists provide care for patients 365 days a year, 7 days a week.

The hospital's building dates back to a 19th century mansion and underwent extensive renovations in 2020. To avoid a considerable amount of wiring in the listed building, the high-quality patient rooms were equipped with the innovative EkoCare® radio nurse call system from MULTITONE.

In addition to the clearly arranged wall call modules and corridor lights for rooms and bathrooms, mobile and user-friendly hand-held transmitters for the nursing staff as well as small handy fobs for the patients can be integrated into the system if required. This means that both assistance and emergency calls can be sent in seconds from any location within the radio network to colleagues in the building or to the nursing staff room.

The exact location of the person calling for help is transmitted with each call, thus enabling immediate and targeted deployment of care personnel. EkoCare® does not require any complex wiring and can therefore be procured and implemented with a comparatively low investment volume.

EkoCare® is a highly flexible solution, allows both the connection of existing building technology such as fire alarm systems and can thus be fully integrated into the building management for the safety of residents and staff.
