Exhibitors about business at A+A 2013


„This year we have renewed our brand appearance: from a completely new product design to a new logo and stand concept. For marketing manager Rubina Meunier of the French safety glass producer bollé the journey to A+A was definitely worth it. „A+A is a tremendously important trade fair, which fits very good to our needs. There are numerous specialized and decided customers, with whom we don’t loose any time. We have the impression, that each of our brochures is going to the right hands.“

The Italian Nicola Spinello, Director of Sixton, a producer of safety shoes, sees a lot of chances for his product development in A+A: „This trade fair is very important, because of the many professional customers which come here to find high quality products. We take the opportunity to talk a lot to them and thereby understand better, what our customers need.“

For Marit Petersen, marketing manager of the safety clothing company F-Engel from Denmark, A+A stands for good business. „It is mainly customer care and acquisition of new customers. Most of the orders come in afterwards.“ Ms. Petersen also uses the trade fair to get inspired by new marketing ideas: „We have witnessed that it is good to have something happening on your stand, like a fashion show for example. We want to pursue this kind of approach next time.“

For him this fair is a decisive chance to make business: „Having a business overseas without seing a person might not be so effective, it might take longer to make decisions. International business most of the time is based on trust, which you cannot establish so fast by email communication.“
