Too good to throw away! Donate your leftovers to Tafel Düsseldorf e.V.

If you have food in good condition or other items from this list left over in the evening or at the end of the trade fair and want to dispose of them, donate them instead!

Contact our cooperation partner, Tafel Düsseldorf e.V., and arrange a pick-up date. Subject to sufficient capacity at the Tafel for collection and storage, their volunteers will be happy to collect the goods from your stand. They then make them available to people affected by poverty in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. We take care of the logistics in consultation with the Tafel. All you have to do is make a call and register your goods.

We want our fairs to be as sustainable as possible and avoid waste, especially of food. Please help us by not throwing away leftovers! However, passing on leftovers from open catering is not allowed for hygiene reasons.

Düsseldorf CityInfo: Events Worth Visiting

Dmitry Smirnov, Zombie Boy (Rick Genest), 2011

Dmitry Smirnov, Zombie Boy (Rick Genest), 2011

What makes the devil such a fascinating figure that he’s part of our pop culture? And what the hell does that have to do with men’s fashion? Immerse yourself in the irresistible World of Horror. A podcast will set the mood – and for the undaunted, the exhibition Death and the Devil awaits in the Kunstpalast. Diagonally opposite in the NRW-Forum, famous names such as Bryan Adams, Meret Becker and Tim Bendzko will surprise you with their less familiar creative sides. There is also one famous person who features in the exhibition under the pseudonym Gedeon Schenkt. See if you can work out who it is!

As a four-year-old, Alexej Gerassimez drummed on buckets and tins; today he is among the world’s best multi-percussionists. When he comes to the Tonhalle with his brother, three friends, four percussion kits and a piano, get ready for an evening of astounding rhythms, with water, wood and stone also playing a resonant role.
