Alsico is a family business with global activity. We aim to offer a sustainable, tailor-made total solution to companies that are looking for high-quality, industrial washable workwear for their wearers.
In every project, Alsico starts from the safety and comfort needs of every wearer and ensures that the clothing respects its identity and promotes the image of the organisation.
It all started in 1934 when Leopold Aelvoet decided that he would start his own clothing clothing company. The small workshop that produced the first of the emblematic blue overalls was taken over in 1947 by his son-in-law, mr. Gaston Siau. He expanded the company to a workwear specialist at European level. Aelvoet and Siau Confection thus became ALSICO.
Thanks to the vision and the tireless work of the third generation – mr. Bernard and mr. Philippe Siau – Alsico continued to grow into a global player. Since 2016, the fourth generation has appeared with Vincent and Gauthier Siau.
The Alsico Group currently has 7500 employees and a consolidated turnover of +250 million euros. With its 100 employees, Alsico as the cradle of the global group still plays an important role in the further development of the company.
