Our products

Product category: Technical fabrics

Klopman International was the fabric producer that first pioneered the development of the world’s original polyester-blended fabric for industrially washed workwear. After extensive trials, we achieved the optimum performance fabric– using a blend of 65% polyester / 35% cotton, the most important blend in the industry which is still in use today.

Available in a wide range of weights, from 150 g/m² to 300 g/m², and with plain, twill, satin, panama and ripstop weaves, in addition to an extensive range of colours there is also a choice of printed stripes and special finishes. The range is completed by different colours of striped design fabrics and denim solutions. Yarn dyed fabrics are available according to customer requests in different design and colours.

These fabrics ensure a longer working life, with outstanding wearer protection qualities. That means garment ts retain their smart appearance for far longer and are suitable for both domestic washing and high-temperature industrial washing.

Cotton-Rich Fabrics

Specifically developed as an alternative to 100% cotton, cotton-rich fabrics combine the comfort and absorbency of cotton with the extra durability and performance qualities of polyester. Klopman’s cotton-rich fabrics meet the demands of the widest range of garments, from heavy-duty workwear to clothes which require softer styling and drape.

Our workwear fabrics ensure excellent tear and abrasion resistance even after repeated industrial laundering. The cotton-rich blend avoids high levels of shrinkage which is so often a characteristic of 100% cotton.

Choose from a range of weights from 180 g/m² to 360 g/m², an extensive choice of colours, and a variety of weaves including plain, twill, satin, panama and chambray, together with organic cotton, Fairtrade and BCI solutions.

Stretch Fabrics

Klopman’s stretch lines redefine what you can expect from a fabric in terms of comfort, offering greater freedom of movement and total ease of wear. The superior stretch and recover qualities also mean that garments flex and respond to movement without placing strain on their construction and maintain their original shape and appearance.

Two ranges of fabrics to meet every customer’s needs, bringing more comfortable conditions to more and more sectors:

Star-Line: polyester/cotton blended fabrics produced using Klopman’s advanced fabric construction technology, with a weave that gives them a ‘natural’ stretch without the need for any added fibres to enhance their performance.

Indigostar: is a completely new collection of poly-cotton mechanical stretch fabrics with a denim look designed to offer the wearer superb comfort and freedom of movement.

K-Flex: a completely new range of fabrics which include the XLANCE fibre in the blend – an innovative and advanced elastomeric fibre that bring new levels of performance.
